Hi,

On my 2.3 dual G5, which doesn't boot, the diagnostic LEDs don't
illuminate at all even when the air deflector is opened. The front
panel light stays on and doesn't flash.

Can a faulty air deflector sensor stop the machine working?

TIA
Richard

King of odd, the deflector removed will still make the mac boot, but
your fans will run at 100%.

try to unplug your mac and plug it back in and if you hear a few relays
clicking and still doesn't boot, i would have your machine serviced. if
you plug it back in and you don't hear any relays clicking, your power
supply is fried or your power bar have no power "if behind a power bar"
